Leadership in Insurance and Employee Benefits
Since March 2019, I have served as the Owner and Managing Partner of Dominion Companies, where I
oversee comprehensive insurance operations nationwide. My focus encompasses strategic partnerships,
data security, and sales, ensuring that our offerings align with the evolving needs of our clients. Dominion
Companies provide a wide array of insurance solutions, including commercial and residential coverage,
mortgage protection, health insurance, and employee benefits, catering to both individuals and
businesses at various stages of growth.
Currently, I hold a leadership position with The Petra Group Insurance & Financial Services, specializing
in worksite benefits for small, medium, and large organizations. Collaborating with our various high rated
carriers, I'm set to deliver tailored benefits solutions to charter schools, universities, and municipalities,
aiming to enhance employee satisfaction and retention through comprehensive coverage options.
Expertise in Educational Technology and IT Management
Previously, I managed IT resources for over 46,000 students and staff across 83 schools in East Baton
Rouge Parish. I was responsible for a device inventory valued at approximately $10 million, providing
technical support, staff training, and implementing process improvements that significantly increased
productivity and reduced costs.
Retail and Operational Leadership
My career also includes substantial retail management experience, notably at Walmart in Zachary, where
I supervised over 120 associates, and at Kmart in Houston, where I achieved a 35% increase in sales
within a year and reduced product waste from $560,000 to $24,000. As General Manager of The
Dickerson Group, Inc. for nearly a decade, I led construction, facilities, and project management
operations, overseeing staff, vendors, and financial planning.
